Greyborn Weimaraners makes its home in Lecanto FL ,near Ocala.Paul and myself established Greyborn Weimaraners in 2003. However, my 1st Weimaraner was a gift from my father when I was 5 years old. I have had Weimaraners for 50 years + years ... they are my heart and soul!

Why did you start breeding?
I bred my first litter 20 years ago. Since then I have had many Champions. I only breed occasionally for the purpose of improving the breed. Greyborn is a preservation breeder.What makes your program special?
Weimaraners are highly intelligent, high energy,medium sized gray dogs that we have cherished and loved for 50 plus years, Our goal in breeding Weimaraners is to preserve the breed and focus on Temperment,Health and Beauty. We want to breed and present the "whole" package of perfection according to the AKC Standard and The Weimaraner Club of America of which I have been a member for 20 plus years.What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Puppy prices include a $500 refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Spinal Dysraphism (SD), Hyperuricosuria (HUU), Hypomyelination, Weimaraner Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
