I'm Ashley T., the breeder behind Guardian Shepherds located in Ocala, FL. We offer top-quality pups from titled and health-tested parents. We focus on the AKC Breed standard for color, coat, size, and temperament. Our German Shepherd pups are raised indoors and well-socialized with kids, cats, adults, and juvenile German Shepherds. Each is temperament tested and evaluated for the best match buyer to puppy. Parents are OFA tested and DM tested for healthy offspring. We look forward to introducing you to the puppy of your dreams!

Getting a puppy from Ashley

Ashley has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Ashley partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

“We take great care in placing each puppies with the right family. Puppies are match once they're old enough for us to evaluate their temperaments and personalities- typically around 7-8 weeks”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Puppies will come with a puppy packet which includes a health certificate with age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, and microchip information. Puppies will be genetically tested for DM prior to being placed. Deposits are to reserve your puppy and goes towards total cost of your puppy.”

Contract & health guarantee

Ashley may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
