I'm Laura P., the breeder behind Guiding Light Doodles located in Mayville, MI. Guiding Light Doodles is a family-based mini Goldendoodle program in Mayville, MI. Our puppies are raised in our home with children, love, and daily socialization. We focus on health, temperament, and faith, raising happy puppies ready to become cherished family companions.

Why did you start breeding?
Breeding runs in my family. My mom and grandparents raised Golden Retrievers, and I grew up surrounded by their love for dogs and responsible breeding. That legacy inspired me to start Guiding Light Doodles, where we raise mini Goldendoodles with the same care, faith, and family values.
What makes your program special?
At Guiding Light Doodles, our mini Goldendoodles are raised in our home surrounded by family, children, and daily love. Our faith-centered program focuses on health, gentle early socialization, and wonderful temperaments so each puppy grows into a confident, loving companion.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include petite and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, apricot, black, merle, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Laura

Laura has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Laura partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Puppies are matched with families based on temperament, lifestyle, and preferences to ensure the best lifelong fit. We guide the process using what we learn about each puppy as they grow. Final placement is made with the puppy’s well-being and family compatibility in mind.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our mini Goldendoodle puppies are priced between $1,250–$1,750, depending on coat type, coloring, and markings. A $250 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy. Deposits are applied toward the total purchase price and secure your spot in choosing order. The remaining balance is due at pickup. Deposits ensure serious commitments for our puppies and families.”

Contract & health guarantee

Laura may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Laura offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Laura directly.
