I'm Kristen H., the breeder behind Gunslinger Catahoulas located in Peyton, CO. Our dogs are bred for temperament, health, and breed standards. We give our dogs the best lives possible. Our dogs are part of our family (4-legged kids). We are looking for families and individuals that will provide our puppies with the same level of attention.

  • What makes your program special?

    We are a small breeder that only have 2 breeding dogs. Our dogs are part of the family, and our puppies are raised inside our home alongside our other pets including dogs and cats. They also are around our ranch animals- as well as other adult dogs, indoor cats, and horses.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kristen

Kristen has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Kristen partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $1,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes dewormings, age apprpriate vaccinations, and veterinary exam prior to going to new home. Will hold specific puppy up to 9 weeks of age (or 2 weeks after deposit if older than 8 weeks). Deposit is non-refundable unless major health issue arises during hold time. If puppy is not picked up/paid in full by end of hold period then deposit and puppy are forfeited.”

Contract & health guarantee

Kristen may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Kristen offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Kristen directly.

    Kristen was extremely thorough, responsive, and friendly during the adoption process. She answered all of my questions and was proactive in getting our puppy prepared for departure. Kristen effectively communicated with the flight nanny we arranged to pick up puppy as well. Our puppy came with confidence and love.
