I'm Airionna H., the breeder behind Hackers Appalachian Basset Hounds located in Letcher, KY. Our Basset Hound and Poodle pups are home-raised. We put care into socializing them so they can transition easily. We commit ourselves towards preparing each one of our puppies and enjoy working with their new families so that they can raise their beloved companions with confidence!

Why did you start breeding?
My husband rescued a basset mix when he was a kid and fell in love with the breed ever since!What makes your program special?
All of our puppies are raised in our home with one on one care! They are treated as family until they leave our home heading to there future adventures!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Basset Hound puppies include brown black and white, brown and white, lemon and white, mahogany and white, red and white, tan and white, white black and red, black white and tan, black white and brown, black tan and white, black red and white, and black brown and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Airionna has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $3,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“All deposits are required the day you decide you want a puppy and to be placed on my list. All deposits are 100% nonrefundable unless something happens on my end. I am currently taking deposits for all litters.”

I had a very positive experience with Hackers Hounds from the time of our first conversation to time of delivery. Airionna video called so that we would be able to see the puppies, and answer any questions. After putting down the deposit, she was amazing with providing pictures and updates. She was also accommodating to a change in delivery scheduling. I was a little apprehensive as we have never purchased a puppy without seeing him/her in person. However, I couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome. He arrived very healthy. He has a sweet and happy disposition. I constantly receive compliments on what a good looking and good natured dog he is. I would recommend Hacker Hounds and would get another Basset from her in the future.
