I'm Morgan P., the breeder behind Halfmoon Kennel located in Chuluota, FL. My dad and I are both passionate about our breeds, the American Eskimo and the Samoyed. We want to breed healthy dogs that are as close to the standard as we can get, with lovely temperaments. We prioritise breed preservation and education.

Why did you start breeding?
What makes your program special?
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Where do your breeding dogs live?

Morgan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

“I price American Eskimo puppies at $2500, and Samoyed puppies at $4000. Samoyeds require more rigorous health testing than American Eskimos, hence the price difference.”
Morgan may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Morgan offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Morgan directly.
You can drive or fly to pick up your puppy from Morgan.

About Breaker
Breaker is my heart dog. I have his portrait tattooed on my arm. He is the sweetest dog. He loves his family, babies of all kinds, and anyone who will let him love them. He is the most wonderful pet and while he is now retired from the show ring, we are working towards doing therapy work with him, as he has the most calm and relaxed temperament.

Samoyed
About Bette
What to say about Bette. She is the best pet in the world. Sweet and loves her family so much. She is the most perfect pet in every way, and she is just as good as rocking the show ring! She is a Champion and a group winner. We are working on her Grand Championship. We love her a lot and co own her with Julie and Andrea Dunkle of Articcross.

Halfmoon Kennel reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for American Eskimo Dogs.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
