I'm Marsha H., the breeder behind Hanabi Kooikerhondje located in Ogden, IL. Every pup here is given the best care, raised in my home, handled daily using Avi Dog methods. I currently have a litter that was born 6/9/23 and ready to leave 8/4/23. Pups will be dewormed as needed, have their first shot, microchipped and have a well puppy vet checkup prior to leaving.

Why did you start breeding?
A high school friend invited me to go to some dog shows with her. I loved it. Through this friend I learned a lot about the dog world & breeding.I worked at a Boston Terrier kennel as a kid. They were a well of information & willing to answer my many questions. I learned about breeding responsibly from them and saw litters born there. To me raising a litter isn’t work (even if it is) but a joy.What makes your program special?
I will always sit with the bitch from first signs of labor until all have been born. Each pup is handled daily. We follow the Avi dog method to do the best we can laying the foundation so each pup will have the best start it can. We encourage buyers to reach out to us with question/concerns. Coefficient is kept low to assure diversity in the breed. We do our best to follow standards set by VNHK (Dutch Club)Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Marsha

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
