• Why did you start breeding?

  Life on the farm is never dull, after we had our fifth child, My husband and I found ourselves at a crossroads. With a growing family and the demands of farm life, it became clear that something needed to change. I have always been incredibly hands-on, nurturing mom, and after our fifth child, I realized how much I wanted to be there for our kids during these precious, formative years. However, I also knew that quitting the pharmacy, I needed to find another way to contribute while still being present in the home.

• What makes your program special?

  What makes our breeding program at McDanolds cattle co so special is the strong foundation of family, faith, values, care, and hands-on experience that goes into every puppy we raise. Raising mini Goldendoodles on our farm isn’t just about breeding dogs, it’s about creating a nurturing, loving environment where each puppy is treated like part of our family. Our five kids play a key role in this process. From the moment the puppies are born, they are handled, socialized, and loved by myself and our children, giving them a calm, well-adjusted temperament. We believe that the early interactions with our kids teach the puppies important social skills, making them naturally affectionate and great with children. This experience gives our puppies the confidence they need to thrive in a family home.

• What are the different breed sizes in your program?

  Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  Our puppies are apricot. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

• Where do your breeding dogs live?

  They live in my home.
