I'm Crissi H., the breeder behind Hansel's German Shepherds located in Houston, TX. We raise AKC German Shepherd puppies in a clean, caring home with daily attention and love. Our focus is on health, socialization, and matching each pup with the right forever home. We’re not a kennel... just a family that wants the best for our dogs and their future owners.
Q. & A. with Crissi
Why did you start breeding?
It started with our love for the breed... loyal, smart, and protective. After raising amazing Shepherds for the past 35+ years, we decided to share that joy with others. We researched everything carefully and committed to doing things the right way: ethical practices, vet care, and thoughtful placement.
What makes your program special?
Every puppy is raised indoors with hands-on care, early socialization, and lots of love. Our litters are AKC registered, vet-checked, vaccinated, and come with a health guarantee. We don’t breed often, only when we’re confident we can give each puppy a strong, healthy start in life.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include plush, stock, and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
