A Guardian Family for Grace As I've watched Grace grow, there's something about her temperament I keep coming back to. She's my little observer. Grace is thoughtful and easygoing. She likes to watch what's happening, take it all in, and then decide when she's ready to join in. And one thing I've really noticed? With a litter of puppies, there are always a few names I'm calling over and over—"leave that alone," "come back over here," "what did you find now?" 😂 Grace just isn't one of them. She plays, explores and enjoys her littermates, but she rarely needs redirection. She's content being part of what's happening without always needing to be right in the middle of everything. That calm, thoughtful nature is one of the reasons I've chosen Grace to be part of the future of Happy Tails by TJ. And now I'm looking for a very special guardian family for her. A guardian family gets to raise and love Grace as their own while she remains part of my breeding program for a limited number of litters. When her time in my program is complete, she'll be spayed and spend the rest of her life right where she belongs... with her family. Her guardian family will need to: • Live within two hours of Cleveland, TN • Have no other intact dogs • Be committed to her training, grooming and veterinary care • Be willing to bring Grace to me when needed • Most importantly, give this sweet girl a wonderful forever home There are additional details I'll personally go over with families who may be a good fit. Finding the right family for Grace matters far more to me than finding one quickly. There are actually three weeks between these two litters, so you're seeing two different stages of learning here. The older puppies are doing amazing with the expectations we've been practicing, while the younger nes are still figuring out, "Ohhh... THIS is what she wants me to do!" At this age, I'm not focused on how many commands they know. I'm teaching them now to learn. We start with attention and eye contact. They learn to check in with me and wait for what comes next. I teach the behavior first, reward it consistently, and then connect the word to it. That foundation starts becoming sit, down, side, OK/free and so much more. And this is why consistency matters so much. They're little sponges and with repetition, those slightly chaotic moments start turning into some pretty amazing little learners. Spirit understood the assignment! and he's still looking for his family.

Just a little reminder... I still have a few sweet puppies waiting for the families meant for them. And this girl is 8 week old Joy. This stage is always a little bittersweet. By now, these puppies are such a part of my everyday life. I know their little personalities, what makes them excited, when they want to explore and when they'd rather curl up close for some one-on-one attention. And while they wait, the learning doesn't stop. Joy continues to work on potty training, crate time, grooming and handling, confidence-building, new sounds and experiences, and all those little everyday moments that help prepare a puppy for life with a family. She's not simply waiting for a home... she's growing, learning and getting more prepared for one every day. I truly believe the right families find their puppies at the right time. Maybe Joy has been waiting for YOU.

Watching puppies grow and preparing them for their families is special—but hearing how they’re doing once they’re home is even better. Sleeping in their crates, going potty outside, loving their kids, settling into their new routines…these little updates mean so much to me. 🥹🐾 Thank you to the families who trust me with such an important addition to their lives. Hope may be one of the smaller pups in the Legacy Litter, but she has no trouble keeping up with her siblings! She loves playing outside, chasing after the others and joining in on whatever fun is happening. And if you're wondering what her coat may look like as she grows, we have a little extra insight thanks to her genetic testing. Hope is genetically furnished (F/I), meaning she is expected to develop the characteristic mustache, beard and eyebrows of a furnished Goldendoodle as she matures. Her genetics also predict a long, wavy coat. Her facial furnishings are still developing now and should become more noticeable as she grows. Davy’s big day is here! ✈️💙🐾 His parents flew into Tennessee today just to pick up this sweet boy, and waiting for him at home are three very excited human siblings who are ready to welcome their newest family member. 🥰 Davy is already so incredibly loved, and I have a feeling there are going to be some pretty happy kids when he walks through that door! 💙 Safe travels home, sweet boy.
