I'm Brian H., the breeder behind Hartmann's English Coonhounds located in Farmerville, LA. We focus on ethically breeding exceptional hunting dogs that also make great family companions. We take pride in our work! We focus on breeding dogs that have enough working drive to keep up with our lifestyle, but also have amazing temperaments and can quickly adapt to a calm family setting.

Why did you start breeding?
Well I have passion for dogs after returning from my third combat tour's in Afghanistan and retirement after 23 years the Doctor said I need to get into something that I enjoy.What makes your program special?
My hound's are duel registered with the American Kennel Club as the American English Coonhound also there original registration the United Kennel Club as English Coonhounds. They are first and foremost hunting dogs that I insist an a conformation standard. To me there is no reason to breed unsightly just ugly dogs. I also sell my puppies for the cost of there care.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Brian
Brian has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
Puppy prices include a $50 refundable deposit and between $250 - $450 final payment, before taxes & fees.
