Yesterday was one of those days that reminds us just how much joy a little puppy can bring. Our Hattie’s Texas Cavapoos crew had the privilege of visiting Taylor SPJST for an afternoon of puppy cuddles, smiles, stories, and lots of love! And we got to be part of an EXTRA special celebration — one of the residents’ 99th birthday! 🎂🎉🐾 What an incredible milestone, and we were so honored that our little puppies got to help celebrate 99 wonderful years! I also have to give a huge shout-out to my two junior puppy handlers, who were seriously the BEST helpers I could have asked for! They helped make sure the puppies were comfortable, residents got plenty of snuggles, and everything ran smoothly. I couldn’t have done it without them! Visits like this are so special for our puppies, too. They get gentle exposure to new people, sounds, environments, wheelchairs, walkers, and lots of loving hands — all while bringing a little happiness to some pretty special people. 💕 A huge THANK YOU to Taylor SPJST for welcoming Hattie’s Texas Cavapoos and allowing us to share our puppies with your residents. Seeing all those smiles was something we won’t soon forget. 99 years of life + tiny puppy cuddles = a pretty amazing day. 🥹🐾❤️ We can’t wait to visit again!

One of the things we work hard to do is prepare our puppies for life beyond our home—and this week we’ve officially started crate training! At first, the puppies may have a few opinions about their new sleeping arrangements 😂, but they’re learning that their crates are a safe, comfortable place to rest and relax. We introduce crate training while they’re still together with their littermates so they can gradually build confidence and independence before going to their forever homes. Each little bit of practice now can make the transition to a new home, nighttime sleeping, travel, vet visits, grooming, and everyday life so much easier later. Our goal isn’t for our puppies to leave here perfectly crate trained— they’re still babies! ❤️ Our goal is to give them a strong foundation so their new families aren’t starting from scratch. Every little whine, nap, and successful quiet moment is part of the learning process. Another step closer to being ready for their forever families!

Too cute not to share. Our tiniest little baby, Nina, goes to her furever home this weekend and we are sure going to miss her.

Crate training is one of the many ways we help set our puppies up for success. ❤️ At Hattie’s Texas Cavapoos, our puppies begin learning that their crate is a safe, cozy place from an early age. By the time they go home, they’re already comfortable spending time in their own space—making the transition to their forever families much smoother. It’s not always glamorous (or quiet! 😅), but watching them settle in and nap peacefully makes it all worth it. 🐶💕

Today we introduced the puppies to their very first crate experience. To help build confidence and create positive associations, we start with everyone together in the same crate where they can snuggle up with their littermates and feel secure. Over the coming weeks, we’ll gradually transition them to spending time in smaller groups and eventually on their own. Taking it slow helps make the process less stressful and sets them up for success when they head to their new homes. Every little milestone is helping these babies become confident, well-adjusted family companions!

We got our first puppy, George, from Amanda at Hattie’s Texas Cavapoos, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. As first-time puppy parents, we had a lot of questions, and Amanda was incredibly informative and patient with us throughout the entire process, she made what could have been an overwhelming experience feel easy and stress-free. What really stood out was how much care and love she clearly puts into her puppies. You can tell George was raised in a loving environment from day one, and it shows in his temperament and health. Amanda genuinely cares about placing her puppies in the right homes, not just making a sale. Her support didn't stop after we picked George up and she continued to check in and answer our questions as first-time puppy owners, which made us feel really supported during those first few weeks. That kind of ongoing care is rare to find. We couldn't be happier with George and would recommend Amanda to anyone looking for a well-cared-for, healthy Cavapoo puppy. Thank you, Amanda!

I messaged probably 10 different breeders to find us a puppy - Amanda was the only one who responded in a timely manner and quickly answered all of my questions to find us our puppy. She was so helpful! We love our puppy so much!!

I had a great experience with getting my puppy from Hattie’s Texas Cavapoos!! I looked for the right puppy and breeder for a year. It was super important to find someone that was not a puppy mill and who cared about the health and wellbeing of the puppies. I spoke to many people who didn’t have much info and didn’t make my questions feel welcome and I didn’t get a good feeling about their practices or puppies overall. From the first contact with Amanda she provided all the needed info and welcomed all of my questions. I asked countless questions and she quickly and cheerfully answered all of them and consistently explained even the parts I didn’t understand or didn’t think to ask. She was happy to help me find the right fit and make sure I had the info I needed to select a puppy even if it wasn’t one of hers. She was really patient and sent videos, and scheduled a FaceTime with my husband and I and was quick to answer and communicate. That was the thing that made me feel most comfortable to make a decision after a year of searching, we move our pup but my decision was based much more on the research and testing and thoughtful planning that Amanda puts a lot into her litters and preparing the pups for their new families than any other factor. When we decided that we needed to break Nyxie home, she even helped us pull off a surprise for our kids to let them know we had found our new furry family member. Since having the puppy home we have seen that she is very well socialized and well adjusted as well as very smart! I highly recommend working with Amanda and I would and already have recommended her to my friends and family.

I talked to a lot of breeders looking for our new princess and Amanda stood out as being the most genuine. There was absolutely no pressure to buy from her. You can tell she loves her dogs so much and she sets up her puppies for success to lead their best lives. She was responsive, helpful and provided a lot of updates including photos and videos. Amanda exposes puppies to noises, surfaces, kennels and more, and she microchips. She also sent us home with a puppy care pack. To say she goes above and beyond is an understatement. Remi (Diana) has been doing so well since being home. We couldn’t be more in love.

My incredibly sweet cuddle fluff is now home and she's perfect! Bijou (Margaret) is an itsy-bitsy bundle of love! It's SO obvious that she has been in an environment that caters to maximizing the initial days/weeks of puppy care, ensuring a well-adjusted and absolutely adorable companion! If you are searching for the perfect puppy, look no further! Thank you SO much, Amanda!!!
