I'm Lara M., the breeder behind Haus Mahr German Shepherds & Training, LLC located in Marcellus, MI. Lara has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Lara partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.
“We take the time to get to know each family, understand their lifestyle, and match each puppy to the environment where they will truly thrive.”

“Price includes deworming, vet check, vaccinations, AKC Reunite microchip & enrollment, Embark DNA test, training materials, guarantee, and registration. Puppies going to Canada will be CKC registered.”
Lara may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Lara offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Lara directly.

About Thunder
Thunder is everything a German Shepherd should be: intelligent, confident, and loyal. He has Kirschental herding lines on both sides of his pedigree. Thunder has a strong work ethic but also has an "off" switch. He is people-oriented and loves attention, cuddling and playing ball. At 25 inches tall, Thunder is at the top of the AKC and CKC standards. His offspring are ideal for active companion homes or work (service or detection) involving tasks that require a keen nose. Thunder's offspring can be dual registered in the AKC and Canadian Kennel Club. We do not offer USCA registration or place puppies in homes for IGP/Schutzhund or personal protection training.

About Ida
Ida comes from the finest WGSL bloodlines and has Kirschental herding lines in her pedigree. She holds titles in conformation and performance sports in multiple venues. Don't let Ida's pretty looks fool you, she is a powerhouse of a dog with outstanding working ability! Ida is trained for Contraband/Marijuana Detection. She is highly intelligent with strong hunt drive, traits she has passed on to her offspring. When she isn't training, Ida loves camping trips and riding in a canoe.
