I'm Cheri V., the breeder behind Haus Vinzant Kennel located in Magnolia, TX. Our puppies are excellent representations of their breed, and we are proud to offer our high-quality puppies to loving homes. It’s important to us that we continue to improve our program and share our knowledge with our buyer families. We want to better the breed through thorough health testing and selective breeding decisions.

Why did you start breeding?
After several years participating in schutzhund club and competition; we opened our kennel and breeding facility.What makes your program special?
All of our breeding males and females have their IPO/Schutzhund title to assure our clients a superior dog. These dogs compete all over the world with great success.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include stock and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Puppies are $3,000 We have occasional older dogs for a discounted price. Fully IPO titled dogs are varied prices. When puppies are born, a $500 deposit holds your puppy’s M or F reservation. Remainder cost is due when puppy is received.”
Contract & health guarantee
Cheri may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Excellent level
Haus Vinzant Kennel reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for German Shepherds.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Temperament Test
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
