I'm Lucy M., the breeder behind Heavy Hollow Farm located in Lancaster, KY. We breed high-quality puppies. They’re a daily part of everything we do until they’re ready to join their forever families.
Q. & A. with Lucy
Why did you start breeding?
I purchased my first weim in 2010 and absolutely fell in love with the breed. In 2014 we began our breeding program to increase breed awareness and provide high quality, well socialized pups for other families to love. in 2022, we added the long-haired weim to our farm and are absolutely in love with them as well.
What makes your program special?
Our breeding program is unique from other breeders in the way we socialize our pups. As soon as pups are mobile, we begin integrating everything we do on a daily basis with them to expose them to a wide variety of situations. Our dogs are socialized to other dogs, a variety of people, cats, cows, small children, loud noises, campfires, vehicles, eating with other dogs and so much more.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our Weimaraner puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Weimaraner puppies include silver gray, gray, and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Lucy was patient, generous, and very responsive. It was reassuring to meet Ace and Abby and see what wonderful dispositions they have, and it's apparent in our wonderful not-so-little-anymore pup! He loves people, is quick to learn, and is so patient with our kid (and us)! He was a calm traveller even at 8 wks and a credit to their socializing.
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
