I'm Katy B., the breeder behind Heritage Home Cavapoos located in Wellington, FL. We are a small, family-centered Cavapoo program where puppies are rooted in excellence and raised with heart. We began with our beloved F1b Cavapoo. We focus on health tested lineage, early socialization, and gentle family-focused rearing. We want our pups to be healthy, happy, and well socialized.
Q. & A. with Katy
Why did you start breeding?
My journey into breeding began with a deep love for dogs and a desire to share the joy and companionship they bring. My husband had allergies so we did a lot of research and set out to find a low shedding pup. After welcoming our first Cavapoo into our home, I was drawn to the gentle nature and intelligence of these great family dogs. That experience inspired me to want to share the love.
What makes your program special?
At Heritage Home Cavapoos, we believe how a puppy is raised makes all the difference. Our program is centered around intentional care, strong health foundations, and early socialization. This is what sets us apart:
We only use fully health tested, OFA-certified parents with excellent temperaments. Our puppies grow in the center of our home surrounded by kids, ENS, early potty and crate training.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red and blenheim. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Litter update on 26 July •
This sweet boy, Huckleberry, is the last of Poppy and Theo’s premier litter looking for his forever home! Huckleberry is a playful, people-loving Cavapoo with a gentle heart and a curious spirit. We are in love with his cute “freckles” across his nose and his big puppy eyes. He’s been raised in our busy family home with kids, early training (ENS, potty training, crate training, manners), and lots of love — and it shows!
If your home needs some extra cuddles and puppy kisses, message me for more details!

Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
