I'm Debi G., the breeder behind Hershey PAw Doodles located in Grantville, PA. I take great pride in my breeding program! I am a small-scale breeder, allowing me to give each of my puppies, dogs, and breedings the proper care and attention they each deserve. I want my puppies to be wonderful family companions and bring lots of love and joy into their furever homes!
Q. & A. with Debi
Why did you start breeding?
We wanted to add another doodle to our family to be a companion for our Ella, so, we decided to breed her once and keep a puppy. So, in order to produce an amazingly healthy pet we began with genetic testing and then onto health testing with the guidance of a reproductive veterinarian. Ella passed all tests with flying colors. We found an amazing stud with the same perfect health testing.
What makes your program special?
We studied and followed the Badass Breeder guide to insure all puppies are empowered to adapt to their furever homes easily. Beginning on day 3 each pup goes through early neurological stimulation exercises and early scent introduction, following with noise and environment intro. They will begin potty and crate training.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are medium size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, apricot, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
