Our dogs spend their time with plenty of human interaction, introduction to various noises and experiences, other dogs and cats, and transition to an area adjacent to chickens and goats until they are placed as companion or working dogs. Why did you start breeding?
I recognize the value of having a livestock guardian breed and decided I wanted to become a part of advancing the breed as well as placing these incredibly intelligent Kangal Dogs in other homes/on farms.What makes your program special?
I work hard on training and improving genetics in my breeding program and spend an inordinate amount of time raising your puppy from birth to departure.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are dun. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Carolyn
Carolyn has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Carolyn partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.
“Great care is taken in placing each puppy with the right person or family. Puppies are matched once they are old enough their temperaments and personalities to be assessed/evaluated thoroughly-roughly 7-8 weeks of age. Should there not be enough puppies for those with deposits, a refund of your deposit will be made or you may leave it in place for the next litter wait list.”
Price
“The price includes deworming, vet exam, first round of vaccinations, microchip, UKC registration. All of our puppies are the same price despite colorings or size. Matching puppies to owners is based upon temperament, types of placement (working dog vs companion dog).”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Vet Wellness Exam

DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
