Q. & A. with Jennifer

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding because I fell in love with the Berners gentle spirit, loyalty, and beauty. After bringing home our first Berner, I was hooked- thier bond with our kids and calm, affectionate nature were unmatched. I wanted to share that joy with others, so I began learning everything I could about the breed, health testing, and responsible breeding. It's safe to say I have an obsession.
  • What makes your program special?

Our breeding program is special because of the heart and home behind it. At Hidden Valley Berners every puppy is raised in out home, surrounded by kids, love, and everyday family life. We focus on early socialization, strong temperaments, and comprehensive health testing to ensure each pup is not just beautiful, but healthy and ready to thrive.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black rust and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
