I'm Katie R., the breeder behind High Desert Bernese located in Enterprise, UT. We fell in love with berners because of their intelligence, eagerness to please and the sweetest personality. There’s hardly a better feeling than being able to share them with other families that will love them the way that we do!

Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
DNA Profile, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1B), Bernese Mountain Dog Type, von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
