I'm Tomo, the breeder behind High Desert Doodles - the original located in Phelan, CA. Our puppies are bred for optimal health and temperament. We follow Puppy Culture - ENS training. We want to do our part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well, and we strive to provide each of our puppies with loving homes where they can live happy lives.
Q. & A. with Tomo
Why did you start breeding?
While searching for dogs, I found too many breeders selling puppies from parents with zero health testing, no pedigree, living outside of the US, and no information about the parents or proper vet care before being placed with a family, so I wanted to be able to offer families puppies that could be life long healthy, happy family members.
What makes your program special?
We screen and health test our breeding dogs, which are first and foremost our pets. Our puppies are born inside our home and raised utilizing ENS and Puppy Culture protocol. We litter box train our puppies, which makes the transition into housebreaking much easier. Our puppies are wormed before going home, given vaccines, microchip, and health checked by a licensed vet.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include petite, miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, apricot, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

We had a fantastic experience with Tomo from High Desert Doodles. They were professional, caring, and clearly passionate about their dogs. My puppy came home healthy, well-socialized, and already started on basic training. Communication was great throughout the process, and we couldn’t be happier—highly recommend!

Tomo was awesome and did a great job staying in touch and helping us adopt our cute little golden doodle! Our puppy has been happy, healthy, and seems to be a good intelligent line of dogs because she is so good at her potty training and learning not to bite. Highly recommend Tomo!!!
