I'm Caity L., the breeder behind HighBrassGunDogs located in New Mexico. Our English Cocker Spaniels are Field Bred/Working type! We offer healthy, happy, smart puppies who will excel in any adventure with their new family! We're passionate about these dogs & are careful to breed and raise our pups with only the best policies. Our puppies do well in an active home.

Why did you start breeding?
Our love for the breed and the want to continue the bloodlines we desire in an all-around family dog. Our young children are very involved in our dog training program. We love our dogs because they are just the right size, smart, and a very rewarding breed to train. This breed is very smart and we're doing our best to preserve the traits and temperaments we need for generations to come.What makes your program special?
Our puppies are raised inside our home where we can make sure each one is thriving and living in a clean and healthy environment. We have put forth the effort to have each of our adult dogs a part of our family and live a wonderful life as normal as possible. Our dogs live inside our home as well as a lot of room to run, play, socialize, and be a dog!Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Caity
Caity has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Our puppies come with limited AKC Registration (no breeding rights), age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, micro-chipped (pre-paid), and a great start before heading to their new homes! Deposit holds your puppy until pickup. Puppy picks go in order of deposits if pups are not yet born.”

Caity may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Zipper
Zipper is very sweet and has a very calm demeanor. She is happy staying with her people and relaxing in the home. She gets along with other dogs and is probably the best house dog we have. Her potty breaks are her favorite because she's the first to chase the birds out of the yard! Zipper is a great wild bird hunting companion and has participated in dock diving and agility. She is an absolute joy!

Spark is about 25 pounds and holds our hearts. She has an amazing personality and is truly an all around dog. She is wonderful in the home and loves her naps on our bench in the kitchen! She wants to go anywhere you go and will find a down bird without a problem.

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
DNA Disease Panel, Familial Nephropathy, Cocker Spaniel Type, Adult Onset Neuropathy (AON), Acral Mutilation Syndrome (AMS), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC)
