Meet the breeder

I'm Andrea S., the breeder behind Highland American Eskimo Dogs located in Duluth, MN. At Highland we breed companion, conformation and performance miniature American Eskimo Dogs. We believe in only breeding dogs that have had the health testing recommended by the American Eskimo Dog Club of America and that have excellent temperaments. Our puppies are carefully exposed to as many experiences as possible prior to going to their new homes: all kinds of people, other dogs, sounds, surfaces, and interactive toys.

Q. & A. with Andrea

  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are raised in our home with age appropriate socialization, early neurological stimulation (ENS), and experiences to all variety of sounds, surfaces, and objects. The pups are started on house training -- they have used a litterbox (wood pellets) since they were 3-4 weeks old. This makes conversion to full house training much easier for most owners. We are located in Duluth, Minnesota but have sold puppies throughout the United States.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include white and biscuit and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
