I'm Jacquie H., the breeder behind Highline located in Greenwood Village, CO. Our goal is to raise outstanding Australian Shepherds that are not only beautiful but have good structure, superb temperaments, excellent health and make wonderful companions. I show in conformation, rally, obedience, agility, and herding but our dogs are family and treasured companions first. Every litter is produced with the goal of improving the breed.
I am passionate about my breed and my dogs and puppies are my highest priority, I take raising the next generation very seriously.
Q. & A. with Jacquie
Why did you start breeding?
I was extremely lucky to make contact with two of the top breeders in Australian Shepherds. They sold me my first show dog, became my mentors and eventually I was asked to co- breed my first litter with them.
All my dogs go back to those lines and I am eternally grateful to my wonderful mentors who taught me so much.
What makes your program special?
Our dog’s health and wellbeing are our priority and we ensure this by providing daily exercise and mental stimulation, feeding a very high-quality diet, and regular grooming, massage, and chiropractic care. We pride ourselves on our puppy raising here at Highline. Puppies are given the ultimate enrichment experience and leave for their new homes extremely confident, well balanced and healthy. We are frequently taking seminars such as Avid Dogs and researching the latest scientific research on how we can improve our program. We never stop learning and feel passionate about what we do.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
