I'm Julie H., the breeder behind Hobbs Family Shepherds located in Mc Minnville, TN. The foundation of our breeding program starts with raising healthy and well-loved dogs. We aim to pass the same happiness of owning a quality-bred dog to our buyers.

Why did you start breeding?
My husband wanted a German Shepherd puppy. I bought him a German Shepherd puppy and very quickly fell in love with it myself. She went everywhere we went and was well trained. Everyone who met her loved her and several asked if I was a breeder. When I would reply that I wasn’t they indicated that with the great pride and live I had for her that I should be a breeder. Now, I’m a happy breeder!
What makes your program special?
Our family goes above and beyond to be the best breeder we can possibly be. We buy great dogs, health test them, breed for the health and well-being of the animal and take very good care of the pets in our care b
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include stock, plush, and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable, black, black and tan, and black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Julie

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Julie partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,250 - $1,550 final payment, before taxes & fees.
