I'm Jessica H., the breeder behind Hoberg's GSMD located in Cornelius, OR. My pairings are well thought out to maintain breed standard as well as even temperament. I also make sure to do all of the recommended testing through OFA to make the best choices on matings. My girls are taken to AKC shows and events, as well as pretty much everywhere with me, all the time.

Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding because I ended up with the pick female from a litter who my mentor asked if I'd be interested in breeding. I jumped at the chance and haven't looked back!What makes your program special?
I like to look at my pairings very carefully, as well as go over and above with OFA clearances to make sure that I'm giving the best possible start to these puppies that I can.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black, white and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Jessica
Jessica has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Jessica partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.
“I take great care in placing the correct puppy with the correct family, which is why I do temperament testing at 8 weeks. Depending on if the puppy is flying or not we will determine when they are going to their new homes”
Price
“This price includes the guarantee, AKC registration, first 2 vaccines, worming on 2 week schedule, microchip, vet visit, temperament/structure testing to ensure the right puppy goes to the right home. All puppies are the same price, the deposit secures a puppy. I choose the correct puppy after structure/temperament testing. Deposit is refundable if there aren't enough puppies, or correct sex.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Shoulder Osteochondrosis, Temperament Test, Standard Veterinary Blood Panel, Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
