Meet the breeder

I'm Judy W., the breeder behind Holly Hill Berners located in Brevard, NC. We hold ourselves to the highest standard when it comes to our dogs. We take responsible breeding very seriously. Our goal is to breed healthy, happy dogs who will excel as companions and in performance sports. We breed on a very limited and selective basis, and we only breed dogs that meet our high standards for health, temperament and athleticism. We provide each of our dogs and puppies with the best care, and we ensure each pup that we don’t keep goes to a responsible, loving home.

Q. & A. with Judy

  • Why did you start breeding?

We started breeding Bernese Mountain Dogs because we believe that families deserve a Berner puppy who is bred with the highest standards for health, temperament, trainability and altheticism. Our goal is to provide families with loyal, fun companions and teammates who are physically fit and healthy so they can enjoy life to the fullest and participate in any activity.
  • What makes your program special?

Our breeding program is unique as we are not only focused on breeding dogs that meet our strict health requirements, but also on the physical ability to participate in canine sports and activities requiring great health and physical fitness. We dedicate ourselves full-time to raising our puppies, to enable them to have the best start in life. We offer support for our families, being available to answer any questions or give advice for the life of the dog. We aim to make the transition for one of our pups to its new home as easy and seamless as possible.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
