I'm Margaret W., the breeder behind Holub's Hounds located in Olivehurst, CA. We love Basset's and you will too! We care for our pups' health and well-being. They are given love and dedication from the start. We’re a small-scale program with a big love of this breed! Our dogs are our passion, and we enjoy spreading the love of our incredible dogs with other individuals and families by responsibly breeding.
Getting a puppy from Margaret
Margaret has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $1,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The asking price includes AKC registration, beginning vaccinations and deworming, vet check-up, and socialization. Deposit needed to hold your puppy. Full payment upon pick up. Payments are accepted until the day of pickup when the puppy must be paid in full.”
Contract & health guarantee
Margaret may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
