I'm Rebecca T., the breeder behind Honeycutt Haus Shepherds located in Allen Park, MI. We love the loyalty, intelligence, and emotion our German Shepherds bring to us and want to share their love and devotion to other families. We are dedicated to only breeding when it is the best interest to our girls and the future puppies. We spend the majority of our time with our German Shepherds, after all they are a part of the family! It is our goal to provide families and individuals the same high standard puppies to be companions and a part of your family as well!
Q. & A. with Rebecca
Why did you start breeding?
Bringing home a new family member, whether it be a puppy or any other pet, can be a daunting prospect for even the most experienced pet owners. But for those considering a German Shepherd, it can be even more of a challenge. That is why we founded Honeycutt Haus Shepherds. We are so committed to creating a unique breeding program. We work hard to ensure that these loyal and intelligent companions are not only healthy and well cared for, but also good natured and active.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs have been bred to not only excel in sporting events, but to have the keen intelligence that the German Shepherd was originally meant to have. This means not only mental stability in high stress environments – but also the ability to work or play hard all day, then lounge with the kids in the evening.
What makes us distinct as a breeder is our attention to detail. We focus on selecting dogs that have the right balance of strength and agility, but also temperamental traits that enable our dogs to excel both mentally and physically. We also have a team of experienced trainers, who use positive reinforcement techniques to ensure the dogs are well behaved and can handle a variety of situations.
The results speak for themselves. Customers who have purchased dogs from us report nothing but success.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have stock coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
