I'm Markay K., the breeder behind Horizon Lane German Shepherds located in Michigan. I am a small hobby breeder of health tested German Shepherds. I do everything I can to breed sound dogs. I strive to make sure every owner has the ability to get the very best out of their puppy. I carefully choose the sire and dam in order to produce the best quality possible.
Q. & A. with Markay
Why did you start breeding?
I was have wanted to breed German shepherds before I even like boys. This has been a dream of mine my whole life and has studied lines, genetics, temperament, and as much as I can to do the best I can in producing sound pups!
What makes your program special?
My dogs do not live in kennels they are part of the family and love their little humans. Pups are raised in the home and loved on my all, they are introduced to many sounds and smells and noises at an early age. We have long and short coats, standard colors, and off colors as well.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
