I'm Coulson H., the breeder behind Hot Dogs Basset Hounds located in Rexburg, ID. Our mission is to raise healthy, happy, adorable Basset Hound puppies and connect loving families with their new best friend! We are dedicated to always providing our buyers and our puppies with a positive experience, which includes remaining committed to responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our puppies. We spend countless hours with each of our litters, socializing and caring for our puppies to prepare them for their forever homes. We truly love our puppies and know you will, too!

Why did you start breeding?
I started breeding my Shih Tzu, and I really enjoyed that, I was raised with Basset hounds and I always wanted to raise my children with one.What makes your program special?
This isn’t our day jobs it’s just a hobby that we enjoy and we love having the puppies in our home. We don’t run a kennel, just a family and 2 dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Coulson
Coulson has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,250 - $1,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.
