I'm Carlene F., the breeder behind Hounds of Salemridge located in Aurora, IN. We are lifelong dog enthusiasts, and we’re excited to share our passion and purpose with others through our breeding program. We are a small, in-home breeding program where we prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that we can. We cherish all of our animals and enjoy sharing the love of this breed with other individuals and families!

Why did you start breeding?
I love Basset hounds. Wanted to share with other families the love of the breed. Puppies are born in our home. We provide a lot of care, nutrition, training, and socializing.What makes your program special?
Breeding over 10 years. I still have a breeder relationship with my previous buyers. I have a lot of repeat buyers that bought multiple puppies from me.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black tan and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $800 - $1,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
