I'm Shannon S., the breeder behind Hudson Valley Berners located in Marlboro, NY. AKC Bernese Mountain Dog breeder in the Hudson Valley. Our dogs are imported from Europe with championship lineage. We provide family-raised Bernese Mountain Dogs and puppies, with a strong emphasis on socialization, temperament, and health. Our puppies are carefully bred to be ideal family companions.

Why did you start breeding?
Our love for Bernese Mountain Dogs began when our first Berner joined our family. We were captivated by their calm, loyal nature and their undying devotion. We quickly recognized how important responsible breeding is to maintain and improve their health, temperament, and longevity. We decided to embark on a journey to give back to this remarkable breed by focusing on ethical, careful breeding practices. Our goal is to ensure future generations of Bernese Mountain Dogs thrive, bringing joy to families while preserving the qualities that make them so unique.What makes your program special?
Our puppies are born and raised right inside our home. They are well socialized and the entire family gets involved. Our children are 3, 9 & 12 and make sure the pups are overly spoiled and the perfect playmates by the time they leave us. Bonding is such an important part in owning a well trained, socialized dog.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include tri-color, black rust and white, and black and rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Shannon
Shannon has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $3,400 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Non refundable money order of $500. Also includes 1st & 2nd round of shots & dewormed. Deposit will be $500 by Check and or Money Order. The remaining balance will be due upon pickup.”

Shannon may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
