I'm Karin C., the breeder behind Hug-A-Mug Mastiffs located in Strafford, MO. I'm passionate about the Mastiff. I've been showing and breeding healthy litters for many years. I believe in quality, not quantity. We occasionally offer a young adult, as a spayed and neutered pet to an approved home.
Q. & A. with Karin
Why did you start breeding?
My passion for the breed and want to improve health and conformation. I love the puppies and the transformation that occurs as they grow and develop. They are my passion! I enjoy winning in the show ring and melt when I look into their eyes and beautiful faces. They have a soul connection.
What makes your program special?
I breed for correctness, beautiful heads, bone, soundness, and temperament. Many of my pups are also therapy and service dogs. They contribute to society with their kindness and beauty. I do extensive testing to assure the health and happiness of the pups and their families. I offer lifetime support for their families, and I am a lifetime student of the breed.biggdogmom@gmail.com
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include apricot, fawn, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
