I'm Tamara S., the breeder behind Hummingbird & Fox located in Bentonville, AR. Our love for our dogs pushed us to begin breeding. We love to see the results of our efforts in the sweet, happy, and healthy puppies that we’re able to share with others. We raise our litters in our home to help set the foundation for happy and confident puppies to transition well into their forever homes. It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to make an impact on each individual puppy!

    Our puppies include lavender, chocolate merle, and chocolate and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Tamara

Tamara has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $4,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This price includes, Age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, Daily puppy socialization, grass patch potty trained. Pre-loved and spoiled. Deposits are accepted on puppies under 10 weeks to hold them until they are old enough to go home to their new families. Puppies over 10 weeks are ready to go to their new homes when they are advertised. No deposit will be taken on them, full payment is expected as soon as your application has been approved and you have signed our Puppy Purcahse Contract. However, please do talk to everyone in your household about adding a new Pomeranian puppy to your family and that everyone is in agreement on the addition of the new Pomeranian puppy before you move forward with signing the contract and sending payment. I do not offer refunds of any kind due to anyone changing their mind. Thank you for understanding. Tamara.”

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Profile

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    My experience with Tamara was flawless, she kept in contact with me weekly, sent photos of my puppy, (Chilli, chocolate Chihuahua) answered all my questions, walked me through the entire process with “Good Dog,” set-up a flight nanny to deliver Chilli. Sent me all the essentials needed to take care of a new puppy. I couldn’t be happier with Tamara the entire process and especially for my little “Chilli” girl, who has acclimated so well to our family, and is the most loving, sweet,cuddly, smart and most of all quite the character of a puppy!!     I was quite nervous adopting a pup this way. Tamara lives in Arkansas and I live in Alabama. I had to put a lot of trust in her. My Billy came to our doorstep by her wonderful traveling nanny, Kelly. Billy is absolutely perfect, healthy, and already well trained. Tamara makes wonderful items that came with Billy.     i have had poms for over 50 years so i have had many experiences buying a new fur baby. working with Tamara was a delight. she quickly answered all my questions and she is a very conscientious breeder. she arranged transportation, which was a couple that kept me up to date during Gemma’s journey to me. Gemma is well socialized, potty trained, lives playing with her toys sent with her as well as new ones. Tamara accurately represented Gemma’s characteristics and personality.     Tamara had the most adorable litter of puppies. I contacted her, she answered all my questions and never pressured me. I am very picky, as I had a chihuahua breeding program but ended it 15 years ago and my last girl passed last year. It had been 15 years since I had looked at buying a chihuahua and wow has it changed. So many fly by night and scammers. It took me a year of searching all over the US and the funny thing is she was right here in my state. It really was meant to be. I found Tamara to be knowledgeable, honest and caring. I know how much time and work goes into raising a litter if tinies. As a professional dog breeder I can highly recommend Tamara and her chihuahuas.
