I'm Dell N., the breeder behind Hunnydew Goldens located in Mount Vernon, WA. Our Goldens are from Champion lines, bred with loving care for even temperaments, excel conformation and thorough socialization. Our dogs are an integral part of our family. Puppies receive exceptional care and training, daily handling and Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS)@3 to 16 days old.

Why did you start breeding?
My wife raised her first Golden as a child and fell in love with the breed. After we moved to Mount Vernon in 1992, we purchased some champion quality Golden girls and found a wonderful sire, Chuckanut's "Andy" who won the Sporting Group at Westminster dog show to breed our girls. That's how we started our line.What makes your program special?
Breeding for health, temperament and conformation. We're committed to improving the Golden breed.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include dark golden and golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

"Price includes AKC limited registration, 3 wormings, initial vaccination and vet wellness check at 7 weeks, health warranties, good start on potty training and crate training and lots of socialization. Refundable only if seller does not have the puppy of the sex the buyer desires."

In spare time, enjoys her long hikes with us and infatuated with retrieving balls or anything else! AKC full registration with clearances on all OFA health checks including hips as well as clearances through genetic testing for all Golden Retriever related diseases. This will be her first and only litter.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
