I'm Adria T., the breeder behind Hunting Creek Farm & Kennel located in Mocksville, NC. Our dogs are bred for health, conformation, and temperament. We provide show quality and companion purebreds.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I always strive to do the best at everything I do and am interested in. Breeding has become an opportunity for me to produce the best puppies possible for other families. My main goal is to produce healthy dogs that will bring many years of love to their new families.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our puppies are well socialized with children and other pets on our farm. We practice early neurological stimulation and early scent introduction with all of our puppies. All of our puppies are vet health checked, recieve vet administered vaccinations,preventative dewormings, fecal checks, and are microchipped and well loved prior to leaving for their new families at 8 weeks of age.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Cavapoo puppies are miniature size. Cockapoo puppies include tiny and mini sizes. Goldendoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Shihpoo puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Cocker Spaniel puppies include buff and white, buff, red and white, and red. Golden Retriever puppies are dark golden. Shihpoo puppies are brown. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Adria

Adria has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,100 - $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes the 2 year genetic health guarantee, first vaccinations, vet health check, preventative dewormings, fecal check, and microchipping. We send our puppies home with a blanket that has their Mother & littermates' scent, and some new puppy go home gifts, breed specific information, and a bag of puppy's current food and vet health record. Deposit is required to hold your puppy or pick spot for the litter. Deposits are non-refundable but are transferable to future litters if needed.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     I started my search for a golden retriever a few months ago. My daughter just turned 16 and was diagnosed last summer with a brain malformation and lymphatic malformation that she is having surgery for in March 2025. She started passing out in her classes this year at the high school she goes to, so I decided to pull her out and have her finish the year online. The doctors don’t know if she’s passing out because of the brain malformation or because of anxiety from everything she’s going through. Now that she is home, I was very worried about her being home alone all day long and having the medical problems she does (I own my own business and work full time outside the home) Her doctor recommended looking into a service dog. I did some research and decided a golden would be a wonderful choice. I am so over the moon happy with Adria and Hunting Creek Kennels!!! She was very helpful, messaged back quickly, bent over backwards…she made me feel so comfortable with the whole process, never once made me feel like I was “just someone buying a puppy.” I loved getting the updates and advice before we even picked him up. She truly cares about who her pups go to and you can tell they are so very loved right from the start!!! We’ve had “Gator” now for a little over a month and are so completely in love!!! He is the sweetest boy, full of energy and life! Even though he can’t start his service training for a few more months, just him being able to grow up with my daughter, I knew they would form a bond. He is perfect. He is officially her Emotional Support Animal now until he can graduate from service dog training. We couldn’t be happier with our new family member ❤️
