Meet the breeder

I'm melissa m., the breeder behind Hush Doodles located in Bozeman, MT. We raise small litters in our home. Our Doodles are 26-32 pounds. All the puppies are kissed daily and the momma is cuddled as much as possible. Hush Doodles does not breed our mommas more than three times before retierment.

Q. & A. with melissa

  • Why did you start breeding?

Originally, I bought a puppy for my five year old son named Emmett. Emmett loved our puppy so much. He wanted another one. It was not till our puppy was three that we decided we were ready to breed her. It took a long time to find the perfect Sire. Having puppies in my home has softened my boys heart and I see how caring he is. I breed puppies so the kids in my life can love them.
  • What makes your program special?

Hush Doodles is special due to the warmth and family that the puppy's have from day one. No puppy is ever mistreated. Our mommas are chosen from birth and given to a family right away. This process allows the mommas to stay with their family from eight weeks throughout their lives. Dedicated to showing each pup real love so that we can breed a temperament that becomes engraved in the DNA.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, apricot, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
