I'm Pamella L., the breeder behind HVC Kennels-Home of Von Monray Elite German Shepherds located in Ostrander, OH. I am a lifelong GSD enthusiast. I breed health certified and temperament tested dogs. I do everything I can to make sure I am breeding a better dog and giving each and every dog the best chance in life. I offer free basic obedience training to all puppy parents.

Why did you start breeding?
I had been training german shepherds since 2019. My female Chloe, had her first litter in 2020, January. It was a very rewarding experience for me to help her with her puppies and to find their forever homes. Now I am able to see how each family is enjoying their puppy. Each puppy has become a member of each family and is part of making good memories for them. Our fifth litter was born July 29, 2024.What makes your program special?
I only use top quality dogs, that in this breed means that they meet confirmation standards, have OFA and SV certified normal/good hips and elbows, normal spines, no DM. My main sire, Veni has a certificate of pure breeding from Germany They have all been temperament tested and all are stable, calm dogs. My dogs are being trained in Schutzhund and are at various stages of trial work. Each dog comes from an excellent lineage out of west german lines. All vet care, vaccinations, heartworm prevention is kept up to date. I have very happy families, such as Millie Winkle who wrote to me that her Leni is smart, quick to learn and has become her son's best friend. Puppy parents, Mike and Pam Morceri wrote to me to let me know that their 3 year old Maya is a beloved member of their family, very intelligent and beautiful. They were also happy with the training that was done and wrote that they will be coming back should they want another puppy in the future. Patti L. wrote that she and her family are extremely pleased with the pup they purchased. Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Poppy whelped her first litter on July 29, 2024. This will be the 5th litter at our kennel. 7 pups, 4 left to be claimed by their forever family or forever person. All pups will be vet-checked, vaccinated with first puppy shots, temperament tested and health guaranteed to be free of hip and elbow dysplasia for two years and will be DM N/N. Our dogs are family raised on a farm around children. All puppies in the same litter are priced according to markings, conformation and temperament. Prices reflect limited registration. If you are seeking breeding rights, add $500.00 to the price. All puppies in the same litter are priced according to markings and conformation. Solid black puppies are priced slightly higher. We have 4 puppies left for reservation. Pups will be ready to go to their forever homes the third week in September. They will be vet checked, wormed, and have 1st vaccination. All owners will receive a puppy pack and we offer free obedience training for all pups from our kennel. Deposit is $500.00 non-refundable and payable after pups are whelped.”

About Poppy
Poppy has a very balanced even temperment. She is affectionate, yet very observant. Poppy is one-half working dog with Terror Staatsmacht as her Great Grandfather. The Staatsmacht kennels originate in Germany and are famous for their highly titled working dogs in the area of Schutzhund. Poppy is also one-half show line with Margman Yes as her Great Grandfather. Margman Yes is from Germany and was the first solid black show-line dog, and very famous in show-line circles and hightly titled. Many of her relatives can be viewed on U-Tube while in trial. Poppy has been bred to Veni Von Lindesfarne, a full working line GSD. Veni has a certificate of pure breeding from Germany. His health tests are all normal. He is even tempered and always wants to please his human. Veni is the son of Vicci Von Peroh and the nephew of Vucan Von Peroh. Vucan is a highly titled GSD from Germany. Vucan can also be seen on U-Tube while performing during trial. Puppies should be a mix of high octane working line and low key, gentle GSD suitable for Police work, Schutzhund or family pets. Temperament can typically be determined by the 3rd week of life. Veni is a seasoned sire with 31 prior puppies and throws red and black and solid black puppies. Poppy is from two solid black parents, but as can be seen, she is a red sable, very rare. Pups should be black or black and red. All our dogs are raised with our family and stay each night and throughout the day in our home. We have 5 acres for them to enjoy.

About Veni
Veni is a gentle dog with a sweet temperament. He is black and red, good with all people, young and old. Veni has a certificate of pure breeding, has achieved his Canine Good Citizen certificate and won 2nd place in conformation as a puppy. He is the nephew of Vucan Von Peroh from Germany. Vucan is highly titled in Schutzhund and can be seen on U-Tube. Veni also has a certificate of pure breeding from Germany.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Temperament Test
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Late Onset Ataxia, Spinocerebellar Ataxia (LOA, SCA), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

It was a pleasure meeting Pam. She was very accommodating when we need to arrange a time to pick our pup. She gave us all the paperwork we needed. She also checks to see how he’s doing which I appreciate, it shows you that she cares. We left with a bag of some of his favorite toys, pee pads, puppy food and more! It was a nice experience. Pamela did a great job communicating with me during the selection process. She sent me lots of pictures and was able to provide me with the different puppy's personalities.
