Meet the breeder

I'm Kelli B., the breeder behind Idleista Grand Chasseur located in Fairmount, GA. Welcome to Idleista Grand Chasseur — a small North Georgia kennel along the Pathway to the Smokies. First-generation breeders raising Wirehaired Pointing Griffons for temperament, family fit, and a lifelong bond. Born on our land. Raised with intention.

Q. & A. with Kelli

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our male came first — his personality was too good not to share with the world. Then came our female, equally wonderful. Breeding them felt less like a decision and more like an inevitability. I was nervous about a hunting breed given our lifestyle, but I've never been more glad to be wrong. Watching them in the field and at home sealed it completely.
  • What makes your program special?

Idleista Grand Chasseur puppies are born on the Pathway to the Smokies in North Georgia — raised underfoot, handled daily, and matched to families with intention. Both sire and dam are OFA/CHIC health tested. We honor the Griffon's European heritage in every name we give. Small, first-generation, built on one conviction: temperament above all else.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include chestnut, brown and gray, and brown. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
