Q. & A. with Cassandra

  • Why did you start breeding?

My grandmother bred and showed GSD for over 50 years. I grew up in her whelping box. I fell in love with neos when I was 17. I started showing them when they were a rare breed. I continued showing & pushing for full AKC recognition which happened in 2004. I've imported many dogs from Italy to use in my breeding program. My breed is a hard breed when it comes to breeding.
  • What makes your program special?

Experience & passion for my breed. Neos are not for most people. They are incredibly hard to breed and rear. Even harder to find appropriate homes for. I'm very involved in my breeds community and I advocate for my pups at any age place or condition. I have seen the breed change over the years & I have new expectations beyond breed type & movement. I want to see longevity & function improve now.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
