I'm Pam F., the breeder behind Illusion Kennel located in Palmyra, MI. When we breed, we are striving for healthy, structurally sound puppies with easy to live with temperaments. We always breed to the AKC standard and therefore we want dogs with a strong work ethic.
Q. & A. with Pam
Why did you start breeding?
After acquiring my second Malamute and having a great mentor to guide me, we bred our first litter. I enjoy watching puppies grow and change, learning how puppies develop and how they will mature.
What makes your program special?
All of the dogs that we breed have appropriate health testing completed. We strive to produce puppies that make great family additions and also love to do the work that Malamutes are bred to do.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Pam with Illusion Kennel was very responsive, posted weekly updates about the puppies, kept us up to date on all appointments the puppies had and let us know exactly what was happening. I would highly recommend.
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
