I'm Linda F., the breeder behind In Joy Bernese Mountain Dogs located in Fairport, NY. I am a proud AKC Breeder of Merit and I have been breeding Bernese Mountain Dogs since 1987. Our dogs have earned titles in obedience, rally, agility, and therapy.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Bernese Mountain Dogs have been my perfect dream dog ever since I bought my first dog Etain. To me, they represent love, joy and a happy life. I cannot imagine my life without this special breed. They have a sense of humor that makes them seem like life-long puppies.
  • What makes your program special?

    Our dogs are, first and foremost, amicable companions. The temperament is a strong point of the breed. With obedience training, Bernese Mountain Dogs can offer affection, loyalty and intelligence.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
