I'm Lucy A., the breeder behind Inglenook Kennel located in Fairbanks, AK. Inglenook Kennel is privileged to share our home and lives with giant breed Leonbergers and Tibetan Mastiffs for over 30 years.
Q. & A. with Lucy
Why did you start breeding?
We chose to find a female Leo because we are lucky to have Emerson’s Mamma come to stay in our home and found the females to be so, so special. We decided to find a female to add to our own family and to breed with Emerson to share his wonderful pedigree as well as that of our darling Peabody who is spectacular in her own right and whose pedigree is impeccable.
What makes your program special?
We have made the effort to perform health testing, extensively train and develop our dogs to be successful companions, athletes, and in particular with Peabody as therapy dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include yellow and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
