I'm Kristen W., the breeder behind Iowa's Doodle Co. located in Farley, IA. We strive to connect every pet to the perfect family. We strive to have the healthiest pups. They are raised with lots of love!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I started breeding 2006 after I decided to follow my true passion. I started with one dog and just kept changing with the times. I am intrigued by improving my breeding program every year!

  • What makes your program special?

    We always keep in mind the health and safety of our pets. They live with us or in guardian homes and we know their life is very important to our families. Genetic testing, proper vaccines, and hip certification help ensure that we have the healthiest pets possible. We offer a health guarantee on our pups and love them dearly!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Poodle puppies are miniature size. Aussiedoodle puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Poodle puppies include apricot, black, cream, red, parti, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Kristen

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Kristen partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Kristen was wonderful to work with from the very beginning, and it was clear how much time and care she puts into her puppies. Our puppy came home already kennel trained, beginning to socialize, and slept through the night from day one. She had also started potty training and provided us with a helpful schedule that made it easy to keep him on track with both sleep and potty routines. Our family truly appreciates the effort she put into preparing him for his forever home. Kristen was always responsive to our questions and even FaceTimed with us so we could meet her and see the puppies. Once we decided on which puppy we wanted, she transitioned him to sleeping in his own kennel to help prepare him for being away from his siblings. She also offered to meet us halfway for pickup, though we chose to make the trip to Iowa as a family. When we arrived, she welcomed us to meet his parents and siblings and was okay with us taking pictures. It was such a special experience for us. She also sent us home with a thoughtful goodie bag that included food, shot records, vitamins, treats, toys, and a snuggle puppy with his mom’s scent. After we arrived home, we realized we had accidentally left the snuggle puppy behind. Even after everything was fully finalized, Kristen quickly responded and mailed it to us. We are so happy with our puppy. He is smart and lovable which fits perfectly with our family. I highly recommend Iowa’s Doodle Co. They truly go above and beyond.

    Kristen was absolutely amazing to work with!! She sent me extra pictures of him getting bigger and her post on social media I got to see my little guy getting bigger!     We got our lovely aussiedoodle puppy named Pearl from Iowa Doodle Co. Kristen was excellent with communication and gave us a lot of great tips and tricks for our puppy’s first days and weeks. We could tell she and her family take really good care of their dogs. Pearl was playing with kids and other dogs when we met, and we think that socialization is what made introducing Pearl to new people a breeze. Their family is really working magic with dogs. Pearl’s training has gone so much better because of it. Pearl is well ahead of other puppies her age and is still a healthy, fearless little ball of energy. Kristen is honestly the best person we could have hoped for in finding our first puppy together. We are surprised (and incredibly lucky) to have found her and Pearl when we did. We would highly recommend her!

    Kristen was fantastic to work with, very clear and upfront, it was very easy to setup transportation to Boston with her. We received a very healthy and happy puppy, Waffles is an absolute jewel.
