I'm Jenna S., the breeder behind Iron Sentry Farms located in Leroy, MI. Our mission is to raise healthy, happy, adorable puppies and connect loving families with their new best friend! We treat our dogs and puppies like family, and we give each pup all the loving care that we can to prepare them for their forever homes. Why did you start breeding?
I saw poor breeding practices everywhere and my mission was to create a healthy line with a mix of European and American lines to keep the breed healthy.What makes your program special?
I have pride in my lines and all health testing can be viewed on the adults individual profiles. Our puppies are tended to and loved deeply from the moment they’re born to the moment they are in the arms of their new families. I offer lifetime support for your baby as well and have created a community for all my families to share the love of their bassets with everyoneWhere do your breeding dogs live?

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jenna partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Jenna was phenomenal in matching us up with a puppy. There were some challenges that were outside her control but she handled them with such grace. In addition due to my wife's disability she was very flexible and worked with us on a flexible pickup and timing as well. She stays in communication with you the whole way. Her daughters are very engaged as well which creates a wonderful puppy who is well adapted to people. We would definitely purchase another Bassett hound from Iron Sentry Farms.
