I'm Tamra R., the breeder behind Ironwood Doodles located in Anthem/Phoenix, AZ. Every puppy we raise is adored as part of our family from birth. Our puppies will complete your home, your family, and your heart! Our dogs are our passion, and we can't imagine spending our lives without them. We are dedicated to achieving excellence and healthy family pets, and we love to raise puppies and prepare them for their forever homes.

Why did you start breeding?
I used to show and breed akc registered Pekingese but fell in love with hypoallergenic golden doodles who are active, friendly, and compassionate friends. They are loyal, very intelligent, and just want to be with you no matter what you are doing. They are also so easy to train and to fall in love with! Poodles being the second smartest breed in the world and golden retrievers ranked 4th, this hybrid dog is highly intelligent and also bred for companionship and emotional support. How could you not fall madly in love🥰What makes your program special?
They are litter box trained, raised and socialized with all ages of children and adults, first vaccinations, vet checked, Sire is OFA tested. All parents are DNA genetic tested. They are so valued and treasured as part of our family from their first breath to the moment you take them home. They will love you and be your loyal companion ❤️What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are medium size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and $2,400 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Litter update on 17 Nov. •…This is an example of why I use litter trays to potty train my pups. They love to chew up the potty pads and plastic is dangerous for babies! The vet office offered it while we are here but truly not my favorite thing to use because of them chewing on it! Yes I took it away🙏🏻

Willow is so graceful and elegant. She’s beautiful inside and out. She can long jump over a chair or her pack mates. She has the most beautiful coat. Apricot and wavy curls. She’s tall and slender. Should have named her Audrey Hepburn. She’s just perfect and an F1B. Shes Hollys daughter but gets her smile gene from her dad Axel.

Finn is the most beautiful red with a white go-tee chin. His eyes are hazel yellow!! He is the most chill and easy going dog! Should have called him snoop dog:). He is calm but loves to snuggle and needs tummy rubs throughout the day. He learns so fast. Easily trained. He’s just an absolute love. DNA tested with a wavy coat. Small for a medium size.

Nahla is a queen! She is the absolute most loving and gentle mama! Her son Max is “Mr Arizona”. Haha. His new family is in Nahlas photos😍. Many of her pups have gone on to be therapy dogs😃. She is F1 which means one parent is AKC golden retriever and the other is AKC poodle. She’s absolutely the smartest dog!

Hazel is such a sweet and snuggly little chocolate golden doodle. She has to grow into her curls. Super smart and playful but also very attached to the snuggles! She will lift her front paw when she sees you as if to shake your hand. Such a beautiful color with white markings. She’s very gentle even at play.

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Ichthyosis, Golden Retriever Type
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
