Q. & A. with Tamra

  • Why did you start breeding?

I used to show and breed akc registered Pekingese but fell in love with hypoallergenic golden doodles who are active, friendly, and compassionate fur friends. They are loyal, very intelligent, and just want to be with you no matter what you are doing. They are also so easy to train and to fall in love with! Poodles being the second smartest breed in the world and golden retrievers ranked 4th, this hybrid dog is highly intelligent and also bred for companionship and emotional support. How could you not fall madly in love🥰
  • What makes your program special?

They are litter box trained, raised and socialized with all ages of children and adults, first vaccinations, vet checked, Sire is OFA tested. All parents are DNA genetic tested. They are so valued and treasured as part of our family from their first breath to the moment you take them home. They will love you and be your loyal companion ❤️
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

From our first contact with Tamra our search for our new fur baby was exciting! Tamra posted regular updates on the pups growth and progress. No questions were too small for her to answer and we asked a lot of questions. The day that received our fur baby everything was perfect! Our baby was delivered on time with a white a glove service. We were astounded! He was perfect and just like promised. Thank you so much Tamra for entrusting Bam Bam (his new name) to our family and for forever bond we now share.😇

This is long overdue, Buddy our 6 month old medium Golden Doodle is amazing! Tamra was excellent to work with, she walked us through the process and sent videos and pictures of the litter as they growed and developed. It was really an amazing experience and would highly recommend Tamra to anyone who is looking for a golden doodle. Buddy has the perfect temperament, takes training well, is extremely obedient but loves to play! He is the perfect dog for our boys. Don't hesitate to contact Tamra.

Tamra and her doodles are the best there is! Her communication is top notch especially since we were looking for our pup in a whole different state. She was always so open to answering our questions as this was our first pup and we wanted to make sure we were set up for him when he arrived. She was kind enough to help us figure out the transportation of our pup by giving us different options and making sure to keep us updated while he was still with her. So grateful for her and we can’t thank her enough for completing our little family 🥹💛 Would 100% go back with Ironwood Doodles if we ever want a sibling for our little Oni 💖💖

Tamra was always very responsive and kept me updated every step of the way with Marko. Planning our meet up in Yuma was seamless and so easy. It was truly a pleasure working with her, and it means a lot knowing our puppy came from someone so caring and dedicated. Marko is absolutely beautiful and has the sweetest temperament, we couldn’t be happier. We’re so glad we found Ironwood Doodles and would highly recommend them.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Tamra at Ironwood Doodles. From our very first conversation, it was clear she genuinely cares about her dogs and the families they go to. She was communicative, transparent, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process; answering every question we had and then some. Our Golden Doodle, George, came home healthy, well-socialized, and already showing so much personality. You can tell he was raised with love and attention from day one. He adjusted to our family quickly and has been an absolute joy. Tamra went above and beyond to make sure we felt prepared and supported, not just leading up to pickup but afterward as well. It’s rare to find a breeder who puts this much thought and heart into what they do. If you’re looking for a Golden Doodle from someone who truly does it right, look no further than Ironwood Doodles. We’re so grateful we found Tamra and George is the best decision we’ve made. Jonessa, Ryan & Nora 🐾

Tamra was AMAZING. She is so welcoming and allowed us to visit our pup multiple times prior to the 8 week mark so Chanel could get used to us. She has grown to be so healthy in our first month with her and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. 10/10 recommend Ironwood Doodles!
