I'm Taylor A., the breeder behind Jaxinhaus German Shepherds located in Universal City, TX. The main focus for Jaxinhaus is to produce well-rounded, confident, and stable dogs that are able to flow seamlessly between working and home life. Health, temperament, and versatility are of the utmost importance to us. All of our dogs live a family life with us when not working, cats included!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have a passion for the breed and absolutely loved what it had to offer. I wanted to continue proving how special the German Shepherd is, while actively working to better the breed. I owe everything to my first Shepherd Jax, and the program name is in honor of him.

  • What makes your program special?

    I go above and beyond for my dogs, puppies, and am always there for my puppy buyers. I provide a contract that states that I will always take a puppy back if things unfortunately didn’t work out, while also including a 26 month health guarantee. All of my dogs are fully health tested and temperament tested before breeding. Puppies are exposed to various stimuli like cats, dogs, loud noises, etc.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include stock and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include sable, black, black and tan, and bi-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Taylor

Taylor has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Taylor partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes the health guarantee, contract, AKC registration, puppy vetting including microchip, vaccines, deworming, and first vet visit. All of our puppies are the same price, regardless of gender, color, or coat. All puppies are sold on Limited Registration until health testing and titling is completed.”

Contract & health guarantee

Taylor may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Temperament Test, Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
