Meet the breeder

I'm Donna J., the breeder behind Jelson's Wire FoxTerriers located in Casselton, ND. My dogs are proven champions in the ring and in the hearts of their forever families. I take pride in my program and love my dogs. I strive to produce quality puppies for families that are structurally sound, healthy, intuitive and have wonderful temperaments. I am a preservation breeder striving for top-quality show lines and to ensure the future of the Wire Fox Terrier for generations to come.

Q. & A. with Donna

  • Why did you start breeding?

I decided I wanted to start breeding after I began showing my dogs. It is important to me that I not only continue my own phenomenal bloodlines but that I am improving this breed with each litter and ensuring the well-being of these dogs for generations more to come. It is an honor to represent this breed and create opportunities for others to experience the same joy that I've found in raising these wonderful dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

My dogs are bred to produce healthy, sound, and versatile pups. My ultimate goal is to produce athletic and well-structured canines that can excel within various performance venues and have the ability to be the greatest family companions. I know the health and status of every dog I have bred and am proud of the temperament and conformation of my puppies. My heavy involvement in the show world speaks to the standards that I breed my dogs by. I will always stand behind my puppies.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
