I'm Chris S., the breeder behind Jemira Kennel located in Peyton, CO. I am conscientious, I care about what I breed and produce. I care about the breed. I am dedicated to producing puppies that will thrive and to chose people for them that will provide nurturing forever homes.
Q. & A. with Chris
Why did you start breeding?
When I was a kid I always wanted a horse and a German Shepherd (must have been all those Rin Tin Tin shows because growing up in Alaska I sure didn't see many in person). Approx. 30 or more years ago I worked for a lady that bred GSD and she offered me a co-ownership on one of her beautiful girls...and so it began!
What makes your program special?
We are a small and dedicated program. We are able to devote plenty of time to our dogs and puppies. We are looking to produce quality puppies and are not looking for quantity. Parent dogs are not just beautiful but mentally sound and health tested.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
